Gail Kendall was a Professor of Art at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 1987 to 2011. In 2009, she received the National Council on Education in the Ceramic Arts Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Teaching and Research. Her work is featured in the collections of the Museum of Nebraska Art, the Sheldon Museum of Art, and the Huntington Museum of Art. Gail Kendall resides in Lincoln, Nebraska, where she maintains her studio practice. The artist’s lecture will encompass her work and life experiences in education, studio practices, and education.
