National Casting Center

The National Casting Center at Alfred is a cooperative project between metal and glass casting that will double the capacity of glass facility and the metal foundry. The Center will provide a dedicated glass casting facility and a new metal foundry featuring an induction furnace for melting high temperature metals such as stainless steel.

The National Casting Center will also make it possible to add two more large glory holes to our glass blowing studio.
