Artist's Statement
I’ve been taking pictures for just about ever. My first camera was mint green plastic that used 620 roll- film. My father was a photo hobbyist who built a small darkroom in our basement. Watching him expose and develop a print was a very powerful experience. In college and later I had love affairs with printmaking and painting but the photography never stopped, in fact it was the source of the images made in those two media. My interest now is taking pictures of me and things found around my house, especially flowers.
